| Professor Marcos Barros is the head instructor at Gracie Barra Springfield. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and trained under Master Carlos Gracie Jr, and Professor Marcio Feitosa. With more than ten years of experience teaching and training in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu , he is dedicated to his students and the future of Gracie Barra. With a great amount of success in the world of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu including titles of Worlds, Pan-American and Brazilian Nationals Championships, he simply measures success through his students accomplishments. As a hands on instructor he has accompanied them to competitions, helped them start their own academies, taught seminars and stood in their corners at UFC Fights . He believes kids are the real future of Gracie Barra and offers them the opportunity to learn technique, discipline and how to be a member of a team. On more than one occasion students have been quoted saying , " Gracie Barra Springfield is like a second home to me!" |

| Josh Nordin teaches Muay Thai to all those enrolled at Gracie Barra. He enjoys teaching those new to the sport as well as those ready to compete. He has trained in Thailand and across the mid-west. His students enjoy the light atmosphere but quite tough workouts during the basic and advance classes. |
| Paul Taylor teaches Boxing/Muay Thai to those enrolled at Gracie Barra. He began studying several areas of martial arts in 1991. As a competitor and instructor he enjoys coaching the students that are preparing to step into the ring or simply into a class. All the students at Gracie Barra Springfield feel very welcomed by him, either on the matt as a teacher or in class sparring during Jiu-Jitsu. |
