Marcos Barros
Professor Marcos Barros is the head instructor at Gracie Barra Springfield. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and trained under Master Carlos Gracie Jr, and Professor Marcio Feitosa. With more than ten years of experience teaching and training in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu , he is dedicated to his students and the future of Gracie Barra. With a great amount of success in the world of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu including titles of Worlds, Pan-American and Brazilian Nationals Championships, he simply measures success through his students accomplishments. As a hands on instructor he has accompanied them to competitions, helped them start their own academies, taught seminars and stood in their corners at UFC Fights . He believes kids are the real future of Gracie Barra and offers them the opportunity to learn technique, discipline and how to be a member of a team. On more than one occasion students have been quoted saying , “Gracie Barra Springfield is like a second home to me!”
