In honor of Helio Gracie there will be no class tonight Thursday January 29th. He was a dear friend of Professor Marcos Barros and as a student myself I am thankful for his lifes work and dedication to jiu-jitsu. God Bless him and his family at this time.

Randy Peterson earned his brown belt this week ! We are very blessed to have him at the academy. He is a great teacher on the mats and an ever present help teaching nutrition and techniques! I believe I can speak for all the students when I say we would be at a loss without his friendship and presence here at Gracie Barra Springfield!
